Donna Marcus is a Business Services Accountant and Tax Adviser who is passionate about staff development and supporting clients fulfill their financial needs.
She has been in the accounting industry for over 15 years and has a vast range of experience including working with a range of clients from industries as diverse as property development, film production, retail and pharmaceuticals.
Donna prides herself on getting to know each client and their industry, developing a strong relationship to ensure she can provide the best service and advice to reach their goals.
As well as supporting her clients, Donna is passionate about developing her team. She enjoys helping others to achieve their professional goals and guide them throughout their career.
Outside of her role with Strategem, Donna is the co-founder of the Female Accountants Network. A network designed to support professionals and provide them with opportunities to access the best experts in the industry.
Donna’s skills include:
- Assisting with meeting tax compliance obligations, including Financial Statements, Income Tax
Returns, Business Activity Statement (BAS) and Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) return preparation.
- Managing corporate secretarial requirements for companies.
- Due Diligence and forensic accounting.
- Cash flow forecasting and budgeting.
- Tax advisory, including application of the small business entity concessions.
- Business advisory services, including assisting with internal processes.
- Structuring and tax planning services.
- Management reporting including monthly reporting and analysis of financial results.

Education has always been important to Donna and she believes in maintaining her qualifications and continually up-skilling herself.

- Donna holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from the University of Melbourne
- Chartered Accountant and Fellow member of the Tax Institute
