Kaileb joined the Strategem team in 2022 as a Tax Intern while working through his studies at La Trobe University Bendigo.
A self labelled coffee addict, basketball fan and lover of Mexican cuisine, Kaileb is also a passionate member of the Bendigo east Baseball Club.
My story:
I was lucky enough to be employed at Strategem in a casual capacity in July 2022 as a Tax Intern. Being a university student, Strategem has provided the flexibility and supportive environment needed to assist me with the completion of my study.
I find the best thing about working for Strategem is the culture in which they pride themselves on both internally and externally. They provide employees with a great working environment and other opportunities within the community.
I enjoy having the ability to enhance my skills in the profession through regular staff team training. This allows all accountants within Strategem to stay updated with any tax changes that may have happened within recent times and/or enhance our skills to help provide our clients with the best outcome and experience possible.
Strategem offer and encourage personal growth within the industry and practice. This is something that as an intern I am excited to explore when looking to grow my career. Strategem offer Pathways programs to provide the accountants with the tools to develop and succeed, which help with career progression. This is something I want to do with Strategem as I have really enjoyed my time here.
Taking on an intern position is something I would highly recommend as is sets you up for what life post study may look like.
